PSYCHOSIS
I was on my bed trying to keep my eyes open, but it felt nearly impossible. There were two adults on my couch and tons of kids running around my studio. I’ve been told that my coffee table was covered with glasses filled with water, so I was at least a kind host?
My cat had escaped, and the building manager was kind enough to text everyone that the cat was possibly on the second floor. I was able to call a friend luckily and say I needed help (they had full access to the building because I knew before this point that I might need help one day). When she arrived, we looked for my cat, and she was hiding in the basement. Clearly I had stopped taking meds/eating, so we went ended up in a Mediterranean restaurant and I ordered something and I was ecstatic and screaming about how good the food was. Honestly, the food is just so-so, but man, I was excited. Afterwards I pleaded to not go back to the mental hospital that I had been to several times. Dangerously, she agreed, and we went to another hospital. In the passenger seat on the ride there, I continued to hallucinate and imaged other cars trying to initiate something like a Transformer maneuver.
Psychosis is dangerous and one should seek help immediately. Also, I should have been in an ambulance because of the danger of being a passenger when I could have jumped out at any moment.
